Create your first My Architect project
Create a My Architect project when you want people and AI agents to share requirements, decisions, work ownership, and delivery evidence. Start with a small real outcome; you can add detail as the work becomes clearer.
Create the project
Section titled “Create the project”- Open My Architect and sign in with Google for the hosted workspace.
- Select New Project, then enter a name and a brief description of the intended outcome.
- Choose a hierarchy preset: Agile, SAFe, Simple, or Custom. This determines the work levels; it does not decide your product’s requirements or acceptance criteria.
- Choose Simple, Standard, or Complex to control the initial set of documents and diagrams. Start with the smallest useful structure.
- Enable Include sample content only when you want an example project. Leave it off for real work that should start without the Register, Browse, and Purchase examples.
The application creates a starter hierarchy, documents, and WBS diagram according to your selections. These artifacts are a starting point; review them before treating them as your specification.
Give the project a useful first outcome
Section titled “Give the project a useful first outcome”Write what a user should be able to do, how you will verify it, and which constraints apply. For example: “A returning customer can recover a failed payment without creating a second order.” Link the resulting work to its product capability and relevant requirements.
Use the project workflow to turn that outcome into proportionate work. The concepts guide explains the difference between a lasting product feature and a delivery task.
Check where the data lives
Section titled “Check where the data lives”The workspace indicates Server or Local mode. Server mode uses the connected backend. Local mode stores a separate project in the browser and has different capabilities; it is not an offline copy of every server project.
Select local mode deliberately when it fits the task. A failed server request does not mean your project is empty or should be recreated locally. Use the displayed retry or connection recovery action, and preserve the last verified state. Moving existing data between modes requires a supported, reviewed migration.
Connect an agent
Section titled “Connect an agent”Follow Connect an AI agent, then give the agent the intended project name and outcome. Ask it to confirm the exact project ID, find existing work, and read the applicable context before making changes.
Use this My Architect project for the payment-recovery improvement.Confirm the project, inspect its existing capabilities and work, andprepare a brief with requirements, open questions, and a next step.Use real project content and preserve existing ownership.Your first milestone is a shared task brief that both you and the agent can retrieve. Continue with the agent quickstart.
Verified against app/MCP 1.11.0 and workflow plugin 2.6.0 on October 13, 2026. Confirm the connected server’s capabilities before applying a procedure.
